Design Wall Monday

So this WAS on my design wall this morning. I had the pink border on and the 2 blue side borders ready to sew on. I finished it today and photo'd it in the front yard.

This is Judy Sisneros new class Batik Blast. I got into the class Thursday night, the supply list on Friday afternoon and took the class Saturday morning. When I started pulling the fabric from my stash I didn't know it was supposed to be Batiks. I didn't want to buy fabric so I went with what I had.

Week 29

All I gotta say is DANG!!! I was so close to 75 yards total.

The good news is that I am still working on my gym bag, yoga bag and shoe bag for my Pole Fitness class that starts Wednesday night. I also was able to take Batik Blast by Judy Sisneros this last Saturday. I still need to cut 2 sets of borders for my quilt top. I am also ahead on my block a day project. I will be able to make the 75 mark this week. I am hoping to be in the positive with in 2 weeks.

I have made a few things in the last few weeks. I was able to make a Boston Red Sox quilt for a friend and 3 other pillow cases.

This week I am working on Binding the last Cherry Quilt and then making a few bags for the fitness class I am starting in a week and a half. I want a bag for my shoes, clothes and yoga mat. Making all of that I should be able to bust 4 yards of fabric. Also I started my own block a day project out of my scraps. It only bust about 1/4 yard a week but I am reducing my scraps!

I keep getting closer to ZERO!!! I signed up for a signature block swap this last week. That used almost 2 yards. I also finished the top to the Baby At The Bordello quilt and sandwiched it with flannel from my stash. I am very excited that I was able to work on an UFO.

This next week will be slower. I am quilting for a client so I wont bust much.
